HK X WUHAN COLLABORATIVE WORKS - CITY IMPRINT
Responses By
Rao Jian (Wuhan)
Professor Rao Jian’s response to Benny’s work is completely personal, and in “City Imprint”, he looks back at the evolution of cities. Whatever the outcome, destiny guides people’s footsteps as time leaps forward, and somehow a city continues to progress technologically and socially. Every moment is an impression of memories, decisions, and the unconscious. Time waits for no man, and nor does life. City dwellers are full of character, determination and grit, and Rao studies how humans built urban landscapes, and the everyday dilemmas they face as cities grow and change.
